I would contact Airlink support and ask them about this and see if they have or are working on drivers for 64bit systems. RaLink provides a 64 bit driver for this chipset, and Airlink does not because they suck and they went out of business or something. I cannot be held responsible if you mess something up. The reason for this is Windows does not know this is the correct driver, because it thinks it is an Airlink card. Did you purchase this adapter specifically for use with Vista or is this an older one that you’re trying to get to work on Vista?

Did you purchase this adapter specifically for use with Vista or is this an older one that you’re trying to get to work on Vista?
